BIOGRAPHY
Ali Hegazy is an Egyptian filmmaker and was born in 1994.
He believes that we all have a passion for something that makes us strive to achieve it. He came to realize that art is what makes him tick and it's how he is able to discover and express himself.
His passion has led him to learn continuously about all aspects of filmmaking, and he has worked on many different projects as a writer, producer, editor, and director. His films have also participated in several film festivals. His current focus is documentary filmmaking, and he works mainly as a producer and director.

Ali has accomplished 234 min 16 sec of content through different roles and different project genres, including a 44 min documentary film for TV. Commercially, Ali has worked on a TV show as an Assistant Producer
HONORS
The short documentary film 'Fear' was selected to be part of the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival as well as the International Short Film Festival Detmold and the Mentor Arabia Youth Awareness Film Competition in 2021. Ali worked on this project as a one man crew.

The short documentary film ‘Persistent’ was selected to be part of the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival as well as the Faludi International Film Festival in 2021. Ali worked on this project as an executive producer.

The short documentary film 'Helm Fi Zarf' was selected to be part of the panorama section of the Visions Cairo Short Film Festival in 2018 and was previewed in the Spanish Consulate. Ali worked on this project as an assistant producer and cinematographer.

The short film 'Atlantis' won the audience award in the 2MM film competition in 2016 that was launched by MBC2 and Ajyal Film Festival. It was previewed on the Scoop with Raya program on MBC2 channel. Ali worked on this project as a producer.

The short documentary film ‘KHADIJA’ was selected to be part of the short corner in the Malmo Arab Film Festival as well as the Faludi International Film Festival in 2016. Ali worked on this project as a creative director.
